CYCLE A DIFFERENCE

NEWBORNS VIETNAM CHALLENGE RIDES

Get active and save lives! Help Newborns Vietnam and take part in our annual Cycle a Difference Challenge Ride. Since 2013, hundreds of individuals have taken the Newborns Vietnam cycling challenge and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Challenge your colleagues, create a team and test your limits while seeing the best of Vietnam’s beautiful countryside. Ride with our team of expert cyclists and see Vietnam like you’ve never seen it before across stunning rivers, limestone mountains and vivid green rice fields. Strengthen bonds with old friends while making new ones on this epic journey of self-discovery and rise to the challenge together to overcome the terrain, the heat and the traffic in this once in a lifetime cycling adventure.

The classic 3 day Central Highlands route takes you from Da Nang towards the Lao boarder, enjoying the majestic jungle scenery on the Ho Chi Minh Road, onwards to Hue then the final summit of the Hai Van Pass and a gentle roll to Da Nang for a warm welcome at the Da Nang Hospital for Women and Children.

This is the first hospital that Newborns worked with and over the years, many riders have returned. In 2013 they wiped away tears, the question on every rider’s lips was how can they do so much with so little and now there is huge pride in the changes. Our riders in 2019 were excited to see the new equipment, but best of all the professionalism and enthusiasm. This always a very special ride with the nurses and doctors joining the cyclists for the finale celebration dinner.

We also offer bespoke company rides. Enjoy 4 days in the remote north west or head south along the Ho Chi Minh Road and onwards to Da Lat. For those looking for a truly unique cycling experience, the Final Frontier is the ultimate challenge, in an area where time stood still.

If you are interested in being part of Cycle a Difference Challenge Ride in 2020, get involved today by contacting info@newbornsvietnam.org and help us raise awareness and funds for newborn babies born in Vietnam. Together we can reach our goals of creating a safe transportation network and ending preventable deaths of newborn babies in Vietnam. Please enjoy our 2015 Cycle a Difference Film
