Together, we can save newborn lives – won’t you join us?

Support us

We did it! This years’ UpRace is now officially over and what an incredible record breaking year it has been! Sunday was VNG’s UpRace Day Sunset Run and what a fantastic day it was, together we broke through the 3 million km barrier!

Over 1,000 runners came together at the VNG Campus in Ho Chi Minh City to take part, each running a brilliant 10km in an inspired push to make sure we reached our target. This, as well as the countless amazing people who ran yesterday across Vietnam and around the world, helped us to smash the 3 million km mark just in time.

Newborns has been overwhelmed by the support and dedication shown by everyone who ran during UpRace this year, you are all truly Newborns heroes and we are immensely grateful. Thank you to everyone who turned up and ran in the VNG UpRace Day Sunset Run, without you we wouldn’t have reached our goal and now thanks to you, more babies across Vietnam will have a greater chance at life.

Newborns would also like to offer a huge thank you to everybody who ran as part of Team Newborns this year, as well as teams Bull Bull, Philips, Savills, Tiki, Seedcom, iPOS.vn, The Coffee House and Haravan, together you ran an unbelievable 86,000 kms! You are all superstars, and you can rest assured that the incredible amount of funds you helped raise will be used to help save and change the lives of newborn babies all over Vietnam.

A special Facebook hug goes out to all our featured runners, your inspiring stories gave us the strength to push on every day and we know you all made a special effort in supporting Newborns this year. We were especially moved by seeing the wonderful doctors from Phu San Hanoi Hospital who, as well as working hard every day to save newborn lives, found the time to come out and support UpRace.

Finally Newborns would like to thank UpRace and VNG for including Newborns Vietnam as one of the four amazing social organisations that will be helped this year, Newborns wouldn’t be what it is today without companies like you along with the brilliant sponsors and donors of UpRace 2020. You made sure UpRace 2020 finished with a bang and showed that there is no challenge too great when we all join together in sport to enact change.
