Together, we can save newborn lives – will you join us?

Support Us

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Chris to Team Newborns at the Vietnam Ultra Marathon!

Dr. Chris Day, a renowned UK consultant neonatologist with over 40 years of experience, has dedicated his life to saving thousands of preterm and sick babies. A passionate advocate for Newborn Life Support (NLS), Dr. Day has not only treated countless newborns but also empowered the next generation of doctors through teaching and mentorship.

Since 2017, he has brought his unwavering commitment and expertise to Vietnam, sharing his knowledge with young Vietnamese doctors. “It has been a privilege to work alongside such capable, dedicated, and hardworking doctors,” says Dr. Day, “and to see firsthand the real progress being made through the Newborns Vietnam postgraduate training program.”

Together with our 8 veteran runners, he took on this challenge to raise vital funds for NLS scholarships, helping save even more lives. Having conquered the Vietnam Ultra Marathon, Dr. Chris Day will not be stopping – he will be training doctors, nurses, and midwives from across Vietnam in advanced newborn resuscitation to help save more fragile lives.

Every step we take is a step towards a brighter future for newborns. Thank you, Dr. Chris, Bang, Ngan Huong, Thanh Van, Son Hoan, Duong, Nguyet and Van Anh, Sales Force and Regna our kit sponsor. Team Newborns you are all lifesavers. We are so proud of you all.
