Together, we can save newborn lives – will you join us?

Support Us

In this time of COVID pandemic it is even more important that continue with training to support our doctors and nurses to manage more complex cases as transfer within the City and from the Provinces become more complicated and difficult. Today 17 neonatal nurses from Phu San Hanoi, with 34 nurses from Moc Chau Hospital and National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Hong Ngoc Hospital embraced teaching from Anne Moylan, Nurse Educator at Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland. The topic is simple but has huge impact, it begins with creating a healing stress free environment for the baby, low lights, quiet voices, understanding the importance of sleep for growth and brain development. How to know what the baby’s face/reactions are telling you. Changing nursing from care by task to care for the individual baby, the nurse as the voice of the baby. Anne is immensely proud of how nurses are embracing change, putting their training into practice, welcoming parents as their partners in the care of their babies no matter how sick they are. Today another group of nurses will become advocates for the babies in their care.
