Together, we can save newborn lives – will you join us?

Support Us

In 2015- 2016 something extraordinary began. Three passionate athletes — David Lloyd, now Race Director of Vietnam Trail Marathons, Frederik Farina, Executive Chef at the Marriott Bangkok, and Graham Knight with the British Embassy in Colombia — came together to form Team Newborns. With grit, heart, and an unwavering belief in our cause, they triumphed in the Ironman Vietnam relay race, marking the beginning of a powerful movement. That first win didn’t just earn a medal — it sparked a decade of purpose-driven racing, raising awareness for newborn survival and inspiring a global community of runners to carry our mission forward.

Since that first finish line, Team Newborns with different team members has returned year after year, often winning the men’s and women’s relays, always running for more than just personal bests. Every stride has raised the Newborns Vietnam flag higher, turning athletes into advocates and sport into a force for change.

To the original trio and to all who have worn the Team Newborns kit designed and donated by Regna over the past ten years — thank you for going the distance, for fighting for every baby’s first breath, and for making sport a lifeline for thousands of families.

Congratulations, Team Newborns 2015 — the team that started it all. Here’s to ten years strong, and the many finish lines still to come.
