Newborns and Lao Cai Women & Children’s Hospital planning what we can do to ensure more babies survive and thrive.
In the remote provinces infant death rates are often three times higher than HCMC, correct resuscitation at birth determines; life, death or disability.
Congratulations to Lao Cai doctors/nurses who successfully completed our UK Newborn Life Support (NLS) resuscitation course. We are so proud of the Lao Cai doctors who have been selected as instructors.
We were pleased to deliver to Lao Cai families all gifts lovingly knitted by UK parents and grandparents who themselves have experienced the stress and sadness or their baby spending its first weeks of life in a neonatal unit.
Thanks to Vietnam Mountain Marathon and all the runners for taking this challenge in support of our work at local hospitals to give the gift of life to more families.
