Together, we can save newborn lives – will you join us?

Support us

Newborns is incredibly proud to share with you the wonderful news of a very important and happy week. Over the last year, we have had multiple drives for equipment and this week was the culmination of a huge amount of hard work and fantastic fundraising.

On Monday, in collaboration with the Hanoi Department of Health, we were at Đông Anh and Bắc Thăng Long hospitals, the first of 7 hospitals in the Hanoi Neonatal Network to receive their new life saving equipment. The delivery rooms, newborn nurseries and operating theatres now have all the tools needed to save more small and sick babies every day and it was wonderful to see our joy and emotion shared by the doctors and nurses as they received training in the use of their new equipment.

Đông Anh and Bắc Thăng Long were the first hospitals of many to receive their new equipment, which was made possible by a combined effort of a huge number of fundraisers, and we feel they all deserve their own special mention for going above and beyond.

Today we are thanking UpRace and the amazing 100,000 runners who ran an unbelievable 3 million kms, your commitment and enthusiasm to keep running have had a long reaching and powerful impact on the life chances of newborns across Vietnam and have inspired our young doctors to join UpRace 2021. Your awe-inspiring efforts helped raised over 1.6 billion VND, along with the brilliant sponsors, VNG, NutiFood, Philips Vietnam, Seedcom, Genetica, POPS Worldwide, The Coffee House, Haravan, Got It, iPOS, YOLA, Tek Experts, Tiki, CellphoneS, Hogan Lovells, Savills, You Net Media, Payoo and Minh Long.
