Newborns celebrating Vietnamese Teacher’s Day!

Congratulations to the second cohort of nurses who have completed the Edinburgh Napier Newborns Vietnam Specialist Neonatal Nurse Training Course and to the doctors who completed their Level 2 Neonatal Doctor Post Graduate Training.

Yesterday we were honoured to welcome Dr. Nguyen Ngo Quang, Vice Director, Administration of Science, Technology and Training, Ministry of Health and Mr. Gareth Ward, British Ambassador to Vietnam to help us celebrate the graduation of our amazing nurses and doctors. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication, the success of Newborns lies in your capable hands and we couldn’t be more proud.

There are so many people who made this possible, our educators from Edinburgh Napier University currently with us and back in the UK, you have made an invaluable difference to the life chances of newborns in Vietnam. To our consultants, without you none of this would be possible and finally, a huge thank you to our sponsors and the countless people who have raised or donated money. Together we can achieve our goal of zero preventable deaths of newborns in Vietnam.
