Together, we can save newborn lives – won’t you join us?

Support us

On 23 July 2020, Phu San Hanoi, launched their new Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) department.

It was an emotional moment, the journey from an incubator to Mum was a joy to see. The smiles of happiness as twenty mothers held their premature babies to their chest for the first time since birth. KMC practice provides continuous skin-to-skin contact between mother and baby, exclusive breastmilk feeding, and early discharge from hospital. It has many many proven benefits for premature and low birth weight babies. Congratulations Phu San Hanoi, the KMC dept is an oasis of calm, a heaven for mothers and babies to bond and love to flow. Mother’s love is the best foundation for every child.

Newborns partnership with Phu San provides training for neonatal doctors and nurses, working together we are bringing about many changes to keep mum and baby together and at the heart of all care from the moment of birth to discharge.
