We are three months into our UK/Da Nang Vietnam neonatal nurse training our academics from Canterbury Christ Church University are really pleased with progress and the incredible hunger of the nurses for knowledge and best practice for implementing this knowledge. The practical teaching supports the development of core nursing competencies and as each new subject is explored guidelines are developed. As we approach the first programme review in late July we can already see many positive benefits with improved thermoregulation which is critical to neonates survival and supported infant positioning which is vital to development.
