Together, we can save newborn lives – will you join us?

Support us

Christmas is about giving thanks and this year we are incredibly thankful for the progress we have been able to make in what has been a remarkably difficult year, not just for us, but for the whole world.

Despite the difficulties brought on by Covid-19, we managed to achieve many of our goals for 2020, including increasing handwashing facilities in every hospital we work with. Through our Covid-19 handwashing appeal, we were able to provide emergency support to Da Nang Hospital for Women and Children, and we launched the Hanoi Neonatal Network, a pilot project to reorganise care in nine hospitals in and around Hanoi, standing together with our partner hospitals to reaffirm our commitment to support every newborn and their families.

This Christmas, Newborns would like to thank everyone who helped us maintain our training courses this year, from all the amazing consultants across the world who have helped keep the online training going, to the Vietnamese doctors and nurses who have given it their all, you are an inspiration to us every day. Thank you to everybody who helped raise funds this year, as well as our partners, sponsors, and volunteers, you are the reason we can keep doing the work we do, and we feel honoured to have your support.

From everyone at Newborns Vietnam, we hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and we look forward to continuing our journey together to end preventable newborn deaths in Vietnam in 2021!
