Vuong Thanh Son joined Premier Oil in February, 2013 and works as Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator. My family attended the Premier Oil outing event in Da Nang in 2013 where we welcomed the Cyclist Team those came from UK crossing the ocean and very long distant/flying hours just to challenge themselves cycling in completely new location and under the extremely hot condition for only one reason – to raise fund for NEWBORNS Vietnam and SAVE as many life as possible through this program. They are truly hero. Their great actions and behavior has inspired me and made me think and wish if one day I can do the same thing for my people in my country and join this team when they return to Vietnam. I must do something for NEWBORNS – I challenge myself! With that in mind, I have decided to start cycling in Oct2014 and keep training up to now and will participate in this campaign in Nov, 2015 – I hope every mile I cycle will contribute funding to this touchy lifesaving program. From non-cyclist I’m now become amateur cyclist – that a step chance I have made in my life!

Some memorable photo my wife and I took 2 years ago at the event and I’m looking forwards to joining this year event. With great direct/non-direct support from my Premier Oil colleagues and the support/cycling team, it definitely will give me more power and energy for my contribution in 500km cycling in 4 days 25-28 Nov 2015.
