Together, we can save newborn lives – will you join us?

Support us

On Tuesday, we continued with our equipment handover at Đức Giang and Gia Lâm hospitals, the next in the Hanoi Neonatal Network to receive new life saving equipment in collaboration with the Hanoi Department of Health.

It was an incredibly emotional affair seeing old electric fires being replaced by new Infant Warmers and it warmed our hearts to see the engagement from the medical team as they got to grips with their new equipment. There was great excitement about the Resuscitators, a simple, low cost tool that will save thousands of lives by enabling the doctors and nurses to treat sick babies locally without exposing them to the risk of a long journey to Hanoi.

We could not have felt more welcome and this was perfectly expressed by the hospital directors who shared with us their agenda for change and outlined their plans for the future to give every mother and baby the best possible care.

As we expressed yesterday, all of this was made possible by the efforts of many amazing fundraisers and today we would like to thank all the participants of the Empire City 12hr Swim: Empire City, VNG, NutiFood, The Endurance Academy, AIP, Minh Long, Frogs Legs and Mobile World Group. Therefore, they successfully pass the customs https://shlclubhouse.org/pharmacy-online/ control zone, and are delivered to the buyer on time. The speed and cost of the drugs delivery depends on the selected postal service. It was incredible to see the teams take on the 250 km relay and the whole weekend perfectly encapsulated the Newborns message that no obstacle is too big or journey too long if we work together to reach our goals.
