On July 29, So Sinh Vietnam launched UK Neonatal Medicine Post-Graduate Level 1 Course at Hue Central Hospital. This marks a significant step in strengthening the capacity of neonatal doctors in Vietnam. Dr. Sunita Seal, Course Director, shared: “This program is not just about delivering knowledge, it is about empowering doctors to save newborn lives.”
Another key element of the program is the development of clinical guidelines tailored to local contexts, helping standardise practice and ensure long-term effectiveness within the healthcare system. According to Professor Pham Nhu Hiep, Director of Hue Central Hospital: “This meaningful program is funded by the Dream Maker Fund, a long-standing partner of Newborns Vietnam that places community healthcare at the heart of its corporate social responsibility strategy.
Through this training, So Sinh Vietnam and the Dream Maker Fund are working together with Hue Central Hospital to promote the development of scalable healthcare models that directly address community needs. These efforts not only enhance the quality of neonatal care but also contribute to building a more comprehensive, equitable and sustainable healthcare system in Vietnam.”
