Together, we can save newborn lives – will you join us?

Support us

Today marks the completion of the first ever nurse training course with nurses from hospitals across the Hanoi Neonatal Network, and we ended on a high note with all our nurses passing the post-course test!

It was a week full of both fun and challenges for everyone involved, with lectures covering a number of topics including an important look at baby focused care, with our nurses learning and re-enforcing previous knowledge on the importance of Kangaroo Mother Care, looking out for signs of preterm baby stress, and how to make their babies more comfortable so they can develop healthily.

This fantastic week was capped off with a visit from the Treasurer of Newborns Vietnam, Nick Robinson, who awarded the nurses with their passing certificates as well as giving a personal thank you to the teaching team and translators for putting together such a brilliant course and helping make this week a huge success.

Seeing our amazing nurses grow and support each other through the network is a dream come true and we are looking forward to next week where another group of nurses from across the network will come together to take part in this course.
