Over the past five years we have witnessed nurses and midwives not only successfully completing the course but they are also becoming European Resuscitation Council (ERC) certified NLS instructors and taking a leading role in resuscitation in the delivery room.
This week, we celebrated one such milestone a Midwifery Sister from Tu Du Hospital, has now qualified as a European Resuscitation Council (ERC) certified NLS instructor. Her learning journey was supported and encouraged by Caroline Buckley, a UK Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and experienced NLS and GIC instructor, who has contributed to 15 NLS and 6 GIC courses in Vietnam. Caroline’s dedication shines through in every session and her pride in this midwife’s achievement is deeply felt.
Caroline also shares stories of her Vietnam work with a UK ladies’ luncheon club, whose generous contributions support our NLS scholarship program, a heartwarming example of international connection and shared purpose.
