Fantastic Effort!!!!” 24 hours of cycling to keep the Caravelle Saigon sign lit by pedal power to help change the life chances of thousands of newborns. A great start with the British Consul General, Ian Gibbons launching Bright Lights and taking the first turn in the saddle. Well done to Newborns Vietnam, Chairman, Ken Atkinson a really trooper. It was good to have our Cycle a Difference sponsors Premier Oil and Hogan Lovells with us and well done George and Son, great cycling!

Congratulations to, Ian, Ken,Son, George, William, Brendan, Richard L, Duy, Phi Phi Hoang, Todd, Shane, Niall, Matthew, Michael, Richard B, Ben, Marc, John, Minh, Ian, Milton, Neil, Yen and Kim Ly. An amazing team effort that has so far raised $11,000 and set a Cycle a Difference record for km per hour on a static bicycle, Matthew, Ben and Ian an incredible performance.

This is the first cycling fornewborns event to be live streamed, thanks to Minh for taking Bright Lightsviral on social media. Special thanks to John, Martin and all the staff at the Caravelle Saigon for hosting Bright Lights and all your hard work to look after 24 sweaty cyclists and to John and Michael for taking a turn on the bike. Thanks to Suntory Pepsi Co Vietnam for keeping the team hydrated and to Moet and Chandon for inspiring our fundraisers and making the final moments veryspecial with a ‘champagne toast’.The lights stayed Bright for 24 hours!
