The new Australian Consul General, Ms. Karen Lanyon, with Ms. Erin Leggat, Consul Economic/Political  and Ms. Trang Nguyen, Public Diplomacy officers visited the neonatal unit.  Ms Le Thi Thu Hanh, Deputy Director, Da Nang Department  of Foreign Affairs and Doctor Tran Dinh Vinh, Director of the Da Nang Hospital for Women & Children welcomed them. Dr Hoang, Vice Director of the Hospital gave a presentation on the work of the neonatal intensive care unit and the partnership with Newborns Vietnam. The Consul General stated informed us that her focus for her time in Vietnam is around women’s issues/health and climate change.
