Together, we can save newborn lives – will you join us?

Support Us

This is the fifth year of Newborns partnership with the hospital and the Department of Health. In this time, we have supported the hospital to improve neonatal outcomes with training courses and new equipment.

Last week Dr Gary Hartnoll provided training in the care of sick newborns a mix of clinical teaching and lectures, joining the course were doctors from 8 district hospitals. On the Wednesday doctors and midwives from many local hospitals joined a day of resuscitation training, Dr Gary was assisted by Dr Hanh, one of the first Vietnamese doctors to qualify as a Newborn Life Support instructor under the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) regulations.

Congratulations to the hospital for your great work to improve newborn care and thanks to Topas Travel and Vietnam Mountain Marathon for your great support.
