Support Us

A sea of smiling faces lit up the neonatal nurse graduation ceremony at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Hanoi. The nurses radiated happiness and pride as they received their certificates from Anne Moylan, Edinburgh Napier University and the hospital director Prof Tran Danh Cuong.

The warmth of the occasion, the pride of the Director in his nurses the first to receive a UK University certificate, saw tears fall on their teachers’ cheeks. The nurses profusely thanked their teachers and Dr Nga and promised to put their learning into practice to step by step improve the outcomes for the babies’ in their care. They are so fortunate to have the support of the Director, the training department and the head of the neonatal unit as they go forwards as the Voice of the Baby.

A message from Anne Moylan:

I am so proud to be Newborns’ MC. Congratulations to 16 nurses National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology who successfully completed the UK Edinburgh Napier University neonatal nurse training programme. I am very happy to work for Newborns Vietnam on the international nurse training and I was so delighted and proud of being the English MC for this graduation ceremony, and I really felt so many emotions and admiration for your non-stop efforts to improve your knowledge and skills for caring our Vietnamese babies. I also saw your sweat and even tears during your hard work for the successful results today. Nurses are Heart of Health Care, you yourselves will be the first teams to develop the international – standard nursing in Vietnam for neonatal care and become the Voice of newborn babies.
