Mrs Emily Hamblin, congratulated the UK NLS Instructors, the hospital directors for their dedication and commitment to this important programme for Vietnam. She thanked the Tu Du Hospital Director for the opportunity to witness the training and see the importance of correct actions at birth. This evening we launch the NLS scholarship scheme to ensure that candidates from the poorest provinces can participate in this life saving training.

Highlights to date more than 500 health professionals in 37 provinces, NLS course centres approved by the European Resuscitation Council in 4 cities. The journey to save more babies lives continues as Newborns Vietnam and SSVN roll out the NLS training to central and south Vietnam.
