Graduation day at the National Obstetrics and Gynaecology Hospital, Hanoi, was a heartfelt tribute to dedication, achievement, and the strength of international collaboration. The day began with a beautiful performance by our nurses, whose moving interpretation of a mother’s love – a piano recital by Mr. Luu Duc Anh – touched every heart in the room and set the tone for an unforgettable occasion.

Beaming smiles and applause filled the hall as we celebrated the remarkable journey of thirteen doctors through the UK neonatal postgraduate training program. An inspirational video captured their story of growth and learning, from daily clinical teaching and lectures to special projects, culminating in their success in the final exams.

Professor Nguyen Duy Anh, the hospital’s director, extended his heartfelt gratitude to the UK lecturers for sharing their expertise and inspiring the doctors with their commitment. The British Ambassador praised the dedication of the UK professors and highlighted the importance of this UK-Vietnam partnership. The excitement reached its peak as the graduating doctors received their well-deserved certificates, marking a major milestone not only for them but for the hospital.

It was truly a day of triumph for the hospital, with the official certification of the hospital as an approved European Resuscitation Council (ERC) course centre entitled to organise ERC NLS courses in Vietnam. The British Ambassador on behalf on behalf of the ERC congratulated the Director on this achievement and the development of NLS in Vietnam. Adding to this milestone, the Deputy Director BIM Group presented the first Vietnamese edition of the ERC NLS manual a vital resource guiding international-standard newborn resuscitation.
