Together, we can save newborn lives – will you join us?

Support Us

One of the great rewards of facilitating training programmes is seeing the joy of learners examining what they do now and exploring new ways of working. Thirty midwives from Hung Voung and Tu Du hospitals enthusiastically embraced the Edinburgh Napier University ‘Respectful Midwifery Course’ (RMC). Professor Gail Norris sensitively explore the need to give women choices and control over how they give birth. The midwives considered the importance of any changes in practice being evidence based and they devoured the information asking very good questions. Each midwife shared some simple things they would change tomorrow and their longer-term goals.

Newborns is very proud of all midwives taking part, you are truly the champions of RMC in Vietnam. Huge thanks to Professor Gail and Ms Margaret for inspirational teaching. The presentation of the certificates by Harbour Energy was especially meaningful, they were the first company to sponsor Newborns nurse training way back in 2013. We are proud of our partnership and what we have achieved together.
