Together, we can save newborn lives – will you join us?

Support us

Friday marked the end of our equipment handover to 7 hospitals in the Hanoi Neonatal Network in collaboration with the Hanoi Department of Health.

Through the tireless effort of all our fantastic fundraisers, we were able to provide these hospitals with the essential equipment they need, including Infant Warmers, CPAP Machines, Resuscitators and Emergency Boxes, as well as covering the cost of training for 255 doctors, nurses, and midwives for a whole year.

We were incredibly moved that even through the difficulties of Covid-19, the power of sport and the power of partnership in action meant we could still come together to make a real difference to over 18,000 babies and their families.

A part of what made the equipment appeal so successful was how many people embraced Giving Tuesday, which specifically targeted Emergency Boxes and through this campaign, we were able to provide 6 hospitals with 2 fully stocked Emergency Boxes, one for the delivery room and one for the operating theatre. This piece of equipment is truly essential, because when a baby is not breathing, seconds count.

This week we have been in the privileged position to have a lot of people to thank, and our final thank you goes to those who participated in Giving Tuesday: Freshfields, NRE Group, Mullenlowe Salt, Henry Bott & Friends, Alan Grinceri and VietBay. This has been an incredible week for Newborns, and we hope that everyone involved in the achievements of this week are as proud as we are, because we are passionate about what we do, and we couldn’t do it without you.
