Together, we can save newborn lives – will you join us?

Support us

Yesterday saw the second group of nurses from hospitals in the Hanoi Neonatal Network complete their nurse training course. During the week, the brilliant team of nurses from Duc Giang, Hoai Duc, Soc Son and Gia Lam hospitals took part in lectures from specialist instructors all the way from the UK and right here in Hanoi. These sessions covered a number of key areas with a special emphasis on baby focused care and we were delighted to see our nurses come together over the week to help each other develop a keener insight into their baby’s needs.

A huge thanks goes out to all the lecturers and translators who have helped put together such an informative and engaging course and a massive congratulations to the nurses as each of them received a certificate for passing the post-course test. Special thanks to Professor Khu Thi Khanh Dung, President of Vietnam Perinatal and Neonatal Association, whom we were honoured to have teaching alongside our UK experts.

We were so proud to see our nurses learn and grow together and we are looking forward to next week to see our final group of nurses take part in this important course.
