Cycle a Difference 2015 – An Epic Journey

Newborns Vietnam was very honoured that his Royal Highness the Duke of York, joined Giles Lever the British Ambassador to Vietnam for the Launch of 2015 Cycle a Difference Vietnam Challenge Ride. 25 cyclists took the challenge and cycled 1,700 km with 17,500 metres of climbing in just twelvedays and raised over xx.  All along the way the people of Vietnam cheered them, asked for photos with and national TV cameras followed their last pedal stokes.

The British Ambassador and executives from ride Sponsors’ Hogan Lovells joined the ride for the final day from Hue to Da Nang. The made a triumphant entry into the City with a police escort and were joined by the Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee, Mr Dang Viet Dung and the Da Nang Director of Health, Dr Ngo Thi Kim Yen who led the way to the finish line at the Da Nang Hospital for Women & Children. They were welcomed by hundreds of cheering nurses.
